The Lambda LLS-5018 is a regulated DC power supply engineered for laboratory and industrial applications requiring stable, precision output. It operates in constant voltage (CV) and constant current (CC) modes with selectable input voltage ranges and delivers 0–18V at 4.5A (81W maximum). The front-panel interface includes a 3.5-digit digital voltage meter and 3-digit current meter, with LED indicators for CV/CC status, overvoltage, overtemperature, and standby conditions.
Line regulation holds 0.05% across input variations of 85–132 VAC or 170–265 VAC, while load regulation maintains 0.05% from no-load to full-load conditions. Output ripple and noise measure 5 mV RMS with 35 mV peak-to-peak. The unit features microprocessor-controlled keypad input for precise setpoint adjustment, adjustable electronic current limiting, and adjustable overvoltage protection.
Remote sensing capability compensates for power-lead losses, and remote analog programming enables voltage or current-mode control. TTL-compatible remote on/off allows isolated source or contact-closure operation. Inrush current limiting restricts startup transients to 20A at 110 VAC input and 40A at 220 VAC input.
Convection cooling and internal temperature sensing protect against thermal runaway. Heavy-duty barrier strips provide DC output connections. Operating efficiency reaches 60% at maximum output.
