This unit
The JDSU MAP-230 is a compact, three-slot modular mainframe for optical network testing and validation. This benchtop instrument accepts hot-swappable instrumentation cassettes, enabling flexible configuration for component characterization, network validation, and signal analysis across diverse optical applications. Built on PowerPC architecture with Linux-based firmware, the MAP-230 automatically identifies installed modules and delivers stable platform performance for high-precision optical measurements.
The mainframe measures 49.6 × 14.9 × 42.0 cm, weighs 6.8 kg, and supports optional 19-inch rack-mount configuration. It operates over 0 to 50°C and tolerates mains supply voltage fluctuations not exceeding 10% of nominal.
