Abaco Systems / Ramix PMC671TX Gigabit Ethernet Interface Module

The Abaco Systems / Ramix PMC671TX is a single-port Gigabit Ethernet interface module in PMC form factor, delivering full-duplex 1000 Mbit/s connectivity with auto-negotiation across 10/100/1000Base-T speeds. The module integrates a DMA engine with 64 KByte deep FIFO buffers to sustain full-bandwidth operation while minimizing PCI overhead. Automatic MDI/MDIX detection eliminates cable-type concerns, supporting both straight and crossover configurations.

Two PMC671TX cards can be directly cabled for dedicated point-to-point 1000 Mbit/s full-duplex data paths, making the module ideal for deterministic, real-time interconnects in embedded systems.
