Agilent / Keysight R8486D Waveguide Power Sensor

The Keysight R8486D is a waveguide power sensor designed for precise RF and microwave power measurements in the millimeter-wave band. Operating from 26.5 GHz to 40 GHz, it employs a diode power sensing element to measure average power across a 50 dB dynamic range. The sensor delivers -70 dBm to -20 dBm power measurement capability with excellent SWR performance to minimize mismatch uncertainty.

A 50 MHz calibration port enables reliable calibration procedures with traceability to NIST millimeter-wave sensor standards. The R8486D integrates with Keysight power meters across multiple product lines and includes a Keysight 11708A 30 dB attenuator for calibration with a 0 dBm, 50 MHz reference.
