This unit

The JcAir T1200B is an ARINC 429 Control Display Unit designed for testing ARINC 700 series line-replaceable units (LRUs) and avionics equipment. Operating as both a bus analyzer and signal simulator, it measures and interprets avionics system outputs while generating controlled test inputs. The unit decodes navigation and communication data including VOR, ILS, ADF, VHF, HF, DME, and LRA associated words, translating BCD and BNR data into engineering units.

Technical Specifications Receiver Ports:

Low Speed: 25 KBPS maximum bit rate; 0.5 to 400 words per second

High Speed: 150 KBPS maximum bit rate; 0.5 to 400 words per second Transmitter Ports:

Low Speed: 8.1 to 20.4 KBPS in 9 steps (±1 µs accuracy); word rate 5 to 32,000 ms in 1.0 ms increments (±0.5 ms accuracy); maximum 300 words per second

High Speed: 80/100/125 KBPS (±1 µs accuracy); word rate 5 to 32,000 ms in 1.0 ms increments (±0.5 ms accuracy); maximum 1500 words per second Port Configuration: Standard two low-speed and two high-speed TX/RX ports. Physical Characteristics: Main unit: 7.0" H × 19.0" W × 16.0" D (rack mount); 18 lbs. Display: 12.2" H × 12.3" W × 5.7" D with resistive touch screen; 7.5 lbs. Power: 50–60 Hz, 100–240 VAC (main unit and display)

JcAir T1200B — Repair & Calibration Service

Aumictech offers NIST-traceable calibration and repair for the JcAir T1200B. Calibration covers analog input channel accuracy and offset at all gain settings, analog output accuracy, digital I/O logic threshold verification, sample rate and timing accuracy, and trigger and synchronization bus functional verification. NI CompactRIO and PXI chassis also undergo backplane trigger line integrity check.. All calibrations ship with a NIST-traceable certificate. Turnaround is typically 1–3 business days after receipt.

Standard Cal
$450
Pass/fail cert + NIST sticker
Cal with Data
$650
Full NIST cert with measured values

Common JcAir T1200B faults: power supply failure (cRIO-9073/9074), C-series slot connector wear, PXI chassis fan failure, GPIB interface failure on VXI controllers, BIOS/EEPROM corruption. NI CompactRIO most common faults are power supply failure on older cRIO-9073/9074 chassis and C-series module slot connector wear from repeated hot-swap cycles. PXI chassis fan failure is the most common wear item — chassis fans are field-replaceable. VXI embedded controllers most commonly develop EEPROM corruption and GPIB interface failure.

JcAir T1200B price

This JcAir T1200B is listed at $2,800. Calibration is available separately from $450. Contact us for volume pricing or if you need multiple units.

JcAir T1200B calibration cost

NIST-traceable calibration for the JcAir T1200B is $450 (standard — pass/fail certificate and calibration sticker) or $650 (full measured data at every test point, reference standards documented, traceability chain included). Calibration for this instrument covers analog input channel accuracy and offset at all gain settings, analog output accuracy, digital I/O logic threshold verification, sample rate and timing accuracy, and trigger and synchronization bus functional verification. NI CompactRIO and PXI chassis also undergo backplane trigger line integrity check.. Turnaround is 1 to 3 business days after receipt. See full calibration details →
