This unit
The Keysight U2055XA is a USB-connected wide dynamic range average power sensor for precise RF power measurements from 10 MHz to 50 GHz (extendable to 53 GHz with Option 053). It delivers real-time measurement capability at up to 50,000 readings per second with zero dead time, enabling continuous acquisition of pulsed and modulated signals without interruption. The sensor combines average-mode power measurement with time-selectivity functions, pulse parameter analysis (rise time, fall time, pulse width), and internal zero/automatic calibration to minimize measurement uncertainty.
Built-in presets for radar and wireless standards - including DME, GSM, EDGE, WCDMA, WLAN, and LTE - simplify setup for common applications, while broadband coverage accommodates arbitrary modulated signal formats. A variable sampling rate of 1 million samples per second and adjustable aperture duration in average mode provide flexible measurement resolution. The 2.4 mm male connector interfaces directly with RF sources, and dual BNC trigger connectors enable external synchronization and daisy-chaining of multiple sensors.
