It delivers two independent external SCSI channels supporting both Low-Voltage Differential (LVD) and single-ended operations, with a theoretical throughput of 160 Mbyte/s per channel using double transition clocking. The adapter interfaces via a 64-bit PCI bus at 66 MHz (also backward-compatible with 32-bit and 33 MHz operation) and functions as a single PCI DMA bus master, reaching burst transfer rates up to 528 Mbyte/s on the host side.
