The Teledyne LeCroy ZD1500 is an active differential probe engineered for high-speed digital signal integrity measurements. Operating at 1.5 GHz warranted bandwidth with 1.7 GHz typical performance, the probe delivers 270 ps rise time (10–90%) and minimal input capacitance below 1.0 pF differential. ProBus integration with compatible LeCroy oscilloscopes enables direct gain and offset control from the instrument front panel, eliminating external power supply requirements.


The probe achieves exceptional common-mode rejection - 60 dB at 50/60 Hz and 25 dB at 1500 MHz - with typical system noise of 1.75 mVrms and noise density of 38 nV/√Hz. Its low input resistance in differential mode (120 kΩ) and high common-mode input impedance (1 MΩ nominal) minimize circuit loading while preserving measurement fidelity across demanding test points. The ZD1500 handles differential input ranges to ±8 V (18 Vp-p), common-mode ranges to ±10 V, and withstands 30 V maximum non-destructive input voltage.
