HP / Agilent 3582A Spectrum Analyzer

The HP/Agilent 3582A is a dual-channel, real-time spectrum analyzer engineered for precision signal analysis across audio and baseband frequencies from 0.02 Hz to 25.599 kHz. Built on LSI digital filtering and FFT processing, it delivers resolution as fine as 20 milliHertz for spectrum analysis and 40 milliHertz for transfer functions - up to 5000:1 improvement over conventional baseband analysis. The instrument captures transients in millisecond intervals and supports zoom analysis for detailed examination of selected frequency bands.
