Agilent/Keysight 6289A DC Power Supply

The Agilent/Keysight 6289A is a benchtop DC power supply delivering 0–40 Vdc at 0–1.5 A (60 W) in constant voltage or constant current modes. Dual coarse and fine controls enable precise adjustment of voltage and current outputs, while a front-panel analog meter - switchable between voltage and current - displays operation across selectable ranges. The supply accepts 115/230 Vac input (48–440 Hz, 110 W) and routes power via front-panel 5-way binding posts or rear barrier terminal strip.

Flexible grounding architecture allows outputs to float up to 300 V off chassis ground or be tied to ground as required. Remote sensing and remote programming via resistance or voltage source inputs on the rear terminal strip enable automated test sequences and feedback control. Series and parallel operation with tracking is supported through rear terminal connections.

Optional 10-turn potentiometers, decadial controls, and internal overvoltage protection expand control and safety capabilities for specialized applications.
