This unit

The Agilent/Keysight 85037B is a precision dual diode detector engineered for high-accuracy power measurements across the 10 MHz to 26.5 GHz frequency band. Designed exclusively for integration with the 8757D Scalar Network Analyzer, this detector delivers corrected absolute power accuracy of 0.11 dB through automatic frequency response correction via internal EEPROM calibration data. The detector operates in both AC and DC modes, supporting dynamic ranges of +20 dBm to −55 dBm (AC) and +20 dBm to −50 dBm (DC).

When used with the 8757D Option 002 internal power calibrator, the detector achieves dynamic power accuracy of ±0.11 dB across measurement transitions. A 3.5 mm male connector provides the RF interface. Temperature stability is maintained at 0.01 dB/°C linearity drift after calibration, ensuring consistent performance across operating conditions.

Without the Option 002 calibrator, absolute power accuracy defaults to 0.40 dB for a 6 dB power change referenced to +20 dBm. The embedded frequency correction factors automatically compensate for detector response variations, eliminating manual correction procedures and improving measurement fidelity across the full frequency range. Reflection and transmission measurement capability is supported when the detector is combined with directional bridges, couplers, and sweep oscillator systems.
