This unit

The Agilent/Keysight E1708A Remote Dynamic Receiver delivers sub-nanometer resolution for systems in motion, operating in tandem with the Keysight 10897D High Resolution Laser Axis Board. The instrument uses fiber optic transmission to separate heat-generating components from the measurement area, enabling improved accuracy and repeatability while providing flexible mounting and easier access to receiver adjustments. Output is a differential square wave with minimal phase processing errors, ensuring high-fidelity measurements even during dynamic stage movement and power level variations.

Agilent / Keysight E1708A — Repair & Calibration Service

Aumictech offers NIST-traceable calibration and repair for the Agilent / Keysight E1708A. Calibration covers detector responsivity across all specified wavelengths (typically 800-1700 nm range), absolute power accuracy, and EEPROM calibration coefficient update. Compatible with Agilent/HP 8163A/B, 8164A/B, and 8166A/B mainframes.. All calibrations ship with a NIST-traceable certificate. Turnaround is typically 1–3 business days after receipt.

Standard Cal
$450
Pass/fail cert + NIST sticker
Cal with Data
$650
Full NIST cert with measured values

Common Agilent / Keysight E1708A faults: FC/PC connector damage, EEPROM failure (mainframe shows unrecognized sensor), reduced responsivity. Common faults include FC/PC input connector damage, EEPROM failure causing the module to appear unrecognized by the mainframe, and reduced detector responsivity from contamination.
