The EXFO LFD-202E Live Fiber Detector is a non-intrusive field instrument for detecting live optical signals on single-mode fibers without interrupting active network services. Using safe macrobending detection, it identifies signal presence, type, and direction across the dual-window spectrum while preserving fiber integrity. The compact, battery-powered design delivers core power measurements, signal analysis at multiple modulation frequencies, and directional identification - enabling rapid troubleshooting and network maintenance in the field.
