This unit
The Anritsu MS9020C Optical Loss Test Set paired with the MA9723A Sensor delivers precision optical power and loss measurements across fiber optic networks. This integrated platform combines a mainframe optical power meter with a high-sensitivity germanium photodiode sensor, enabling accurate characterization of optical loss, return loss, and power levels across multiple wavelength bands. The system supports continuous wave and modulated light modes, accommodates dynamic ranges exceeding 67 dB with LD light sources, and includes a visible light source for fiber identification and fault location.
Wavelength calibration functionality enables direct absolute-value readings with 5 nm step compensation across three calibration points.
