The Anritsu MS9715M is a optical spectrum analyzer for precise characterization of optical devices and systems in R&D and manufacturing environments. It covers the C-band window (1460–1650 nm) with ±50 pm wavelength accuracy and ±0.4 dB level accuracy, delivering 53 dB dynamic range and 0.1 nm noise resolution. The instrument measures wavelength, optical power, OSNR, channel spacing, gain tilt, gain slope, and full spectrum profiles - essential for WDM system validation and DWDM network monitoring. An internal standard light source enables automatic wavelength calibration to compensate for temperature drift. Dual measurement modes support real-time spectrum analysis and long-term system surveillance, with capacity to log 1000 measurement sets per session.
