This unit
The Agilent/Keysight N2263A is a 32-bit digital input/output module for modular test systems requiring precise digital control and data acquisition. It has 32 bidirectional I/O lines plus 3 handshake/control lines, with flexible addressing as individual lines, two 16-bit ports, or four 8-bit ports. The module supports three I/O control modes - static, strobe, and handshake - plus five configurable handshake modes for peripheral communication.
Byte-by-byte input/output configuration and selectable positive or negative logic polarity enable adaptation to diverse test requirements. Each I/O line sinks up to 0.6 A, making the N2263A suitable for controlling high-current devices including relays, microwave components, and solenoid coils. TTL-compatible I/O operates to +42 VDC line-to-chassis with integrated zener protection and ESD filtering.
Handshake lines operate to +5 VDC. The module plugs into Keysight 3499A/B/C Switch/Control Systems and similar architectures.
