Agilent/Keysight P5004B

The Keysight P5004B is a 2-port vector network analyzer spanning 9 kHz to 20 GHz, purpose-built for RF and microwave component and system characterization. Part of the Streamline Series, this portable instrument connects via Thunderbolt 3 (USB Type-C) for direct PC integration and leverages the same measurement science, GUI, and SCPI command set as Keysight's PNA and ENA platforms. The P5004B delivers 137 dB dynamic range with measurement speed, trace noise, and temperature stability across passive components, amplifiers, mixers, and frequency converters.

Its architecture supports pulsed-RF measurements, noise figure analysis with vector correction, gain compression, time domain analysis (TDR), automatic fixture removal, and embedded local oscillator capability. Users can cascade multiple units to expand port count for complex multiport scenarios. The instrument accepts Keysight Electronic Calibration (ECal) modules for rapid calibration cycles and operates without internal data storage - an advantage in classified environments.

A 50 Ω input impedance baseline supports linear, logarithmic, segmented, CW, power, and DC source sweep modes.
