KEPCO RKW15-100K

The Kepco RKW15-100K is a 1.5 kW programmable DC power supply module delivering 15 V DC at 100 A maximum output. Built on switch-mode topology with Power Factor Correction, it accepts universal AC input (85–265 V AC, 47–66 Hz) or DC input (110–370 V DC), achieving typical efficiency of 82–86%. The unit employs a 135 kHz forward converter and 80 kHz PFC boost converter, housed in a fully enclosed, fan-cooled chassis.

Output voltage adjusts from 10.5 to 18.0 V DC via external 0–5 V programming signal or resistance network. Current limit operates rectangularly with automatic recovery after transient overload; sustained overcurrent triggers shutdown after 30 seconds. Overvoltage protection shuts down output; recovery requires AC input recycle (30-second delay) or RC terminal reset.

Remote error sensing compensates up to 0.4 V per load wire. Input surge protection uses thermistor circuit with fused input against shorts. Master-slave paralleling with current balancing enables multi-unit configurations.

The RKW15-100K supports remote on-off control and remote voltage trimming. Conducted EMI meets FCC Class B, VCCI Class B, EN55011-B, and EN55022-B. The module conforms to EN60950 and carries CE marking.
