This unit

The Rohde & Schwarz RTO1012 is a 1 GHz, 2-channel digital oscilloscope delivering 10 GS/s sampling rate and up to 1,000,000 waveforms per second acquisition. This instrument combines high vertical resolution up to 16-bit in high definition mode with exceptionally low noise - 100 µV at 1 mV/div - enabling precise signal capture across demanding applications. The real-time digital trigger system includes 12 trigger types: Edge, Glitch, Width, Runt, Window, Time-out, Interval, Slew Rate, Data2Clock, Pattern, State, and Serial.


Hardware-based serial protocol triggering and decoding support I2C and SPI natively, with optional UART/RS-232, LIN, CAN, and FlexRay. Trigger jitter remains below 1 ps RMS on full-scale sine waves, while glitch detection resolves events as narrow as 100 ps.
