Kontron / PEP VMOD-2D ModPack Carrier Board

The Kontron/PEP VMOD-2D is a 3U VMEbus carrier board designed to integrate PEP industrial ModPack modules into VME-based systems. It has two independent ModPack interfaces with an 8/16-bit data bus, supporting analog, digital, communication, and counter functions for flexible system configuration. Each ModPack interface includes separate IRQ lines, 11 address lines, and extended control signaling. The board features on-board reset capability for system initialization and offers dual front-panel connectivity via 50-pin D-Sub or 50-pin ribbon-cable connectors. An additional 50-pin ribbon-cable connector behind the front-panel extends integration options. Operating across the extended temperature range of −40°C to +85°C, the VMOD-2D delivers reliable performance in industrial environments. The board implements a full VMEbus slave interface, CE conformance, and ISO9001 certification.
