This unit
The Agilent/Keysight W2638A is a BGA probe for accessing and analyzing LPDDR, LPDDR NVM, and mobile-DDR DRAM signals within ball grid array packages. It interposes between the DRAM and printed circuit board, enabling comprehensive state and timing measurements of DRAM buses - including DQ, DQS, and clock signals - without requiring design modifications. The probe supports both x16 (60 balls) and x32 (90 balls) package configurations at data rates up to 400 Mb/s and operates across a 1.5 GHz bandwidth.
