Teledyne LeCroy WaveSurfer 4054HD 500 MHz, 12-bit High Definition Oscilloscope

The Teledyne LeCroy WaveSurfer 4054HD is a 500 MHz, 4-channel digital oscilloscope delivering 12-bit vertical resolution through HD4096 technology. This high-definition architecture provides 4096 discrete vertical levels - 16 times the resolution of conventional 8-bit instruments - enabling precise capture of wide dynamic range signals and subtle signal details. The oscilloscope supports dual sampling configurations: 2.5 GS/s across all 4 channels or 5 GS/s on 2 channels, with up to 12.5 Mpts per channel acquisition memory.

A 12.1-inch capacitive touch display running MAUI with OneTouch interface reduces setup time through drag-and-drop operation and color-coded channel controls. The instrument integrates comprehensive math functions

FFT with five windowing options, derivative, integral, and algebraic operations - supporting up to 2 simultaneous math traces. Segmented memory acquisition enables up to 1000 segments with 1 μs minimum intersegment time.

Channel isolation reaches 60 dB from DC to 200 MHz and 50 dB to 500 MHz. Input impedance selection includes 1 MΩ and 50 Ω, with sensitivity from 1 mV/div to 10 V/div (1 MΩ) or 1 mV/div to 1 V/div (50 Ω). DC vertical gain accuracy is ±0.5% full scale at 0 V offset.

Rise time (10–90%, 50 Ω) measures 700 ps, with ENOB of 8.5 bits.
