The Rohde & Schwarz ZVK40 is a four-channel vector network analyzer spanning 10 MHz to 40 GHz, engineered for RF component and system characterization in development, production, and field service. It delivers 110 dB dynamic range with noise floor below −110 dBm, enabling precise S-parameter and nonlinear measurements across passive and active devices. The instrument features two independent synthesizers, fully symmetrical forward and reverse test sets, and supports advanced calibration methods including TOM, TRM, TNA, TOM-X, and AutoKal.

Measurement speed reaches below 0.7 ms per point depending on bandwidth selection. Two 2.92 mm male test ports operate at 50 Ω impedance with output power ranging from 0 dBm to −85 dBm. The ZVK40 accommodates optional step attenuators on both measurement channels and supports up to three generators for complex stimulus configurations.
