Fluke 1587FC Insulation Multimeter

The Fluke 1587FC is a dual-function handheld instrument combining digital insulation testing with True RMS multimeter capabilities. It measures insulation resistance from 0.01 MΩ to 2 GΩ across five selectable test voltages (50 V, 100 V, 250 V, 500 V, 1000 V) and performs comprehensive electrical diagnostics on circuits up to 1000 V. Live circuit detection prevents unsafe testing, while auto-discharge protects users from residual capacitive voltage.

The multimeter function covers AC/DC voltage (0 mV to 1000 V), current to 400 mA, resistance to 50 MΩ, capacitance to 9999 µF, temperature from -40 °C to 537 °C, and frequency up to 99.99 kHz.
