This unit
The Keithley 2000-20 E 6.5 Digital Multimeter at 220V is a high-resolution measurement instrument combining a 6.5-digit multimeter with an integrated 20-channel scanner card for multi-point data acquisition. It delivers 0.002% basic accuracy on DC voltage measurements and supports a full suite of electrical measurements including voltage, current, resistance, frequency, temperature, and diode testing. The instrument achieves up to 2000 readings/second at 4.5-digit resolution with internal buffering, or 50 triggered readings/second at full 6.5-digit resolution over IEEE-488 GPIB. The 20-channel scanner employs latching electromechanical relays with <3.5 ms actuation time and supports both 2-pole (20 channels) and 4-pole (10 channels) switching configurations. Designed for research, development, and production environments requiring synchronized multi-channel measurement capability.

Keithley 2000-20 E — Repair & Calibration Service
Aumictech offers NIST-traceable calibration and repair for the Keithley 2000-20 E. Calibration covers DC voltage accuracy at all ranges, AC voltage (True RMS) accuracy at 50 Hz, 1 kHz, and 10 kHz, DC current accuracy, resistance accuracy at all decade ranges, frequency accuracy, and diode test voltage. Fluke 87V and 289 also include capacitance and temperature calibration.. All calibrations ship with a NIST-traceable certificate. Turnaround is typically 1–3 business days after receipt.
Common Keithley 2000-20 E faults: blown input fuse, worn input jacks, display segment failure, relay contact wear on bench DMMs. Common faults include worn input jacks (banana socket contact wear on the mA and COM terminals), blown input fuses (especially the 440 mA HRC fuse), and display segment failures. Keithley 2000/2001/2002 bench DMMs commonly develop relay contact wear affecting resistance accuracy after extended service.
