This unit
The LeCroy 234 WaveAce is a 300 MHz, 4-channel digital oscilloscope engineered for signal acquisition, troubleshooting, and circuit analysis. It delivers 2 GS/s single-shot sampling (1 GS/s across all channels) or 50 GS/s via RIS mode, with 10 kpts/channel memory enabling capture times 2–3× longer than competing instruments. The 5.7-inch color LCD display, paired with 32 automated measurement parameters, advanced triggering (Edge, Pulse Width, Video, Slope), FFT analysis with four window types, and digital filters (Low-Pass, High-Pass, Band-Pass, Band-Stop) supports rapid fault isolation and signal characterization.
Built-in Pass/Fail mask testing with history logging accelerates validation workflows. Vertical sensitivity spans 2 mV/div to 5 V/div with 1.2 ns rise time and 8-bit vertical resolution. The instrument accepts both 1 MΩ || 13 pF and 50 Ω termination, with maximum input rating of 400 V peak (5 Vrms at 50 Ω).
A waveform sequence recorder captures up to 2500 waveforms for playback and analysis. USB host and device ports enable waveform storage to memory stick and PC integration via EasyScope software over USB or LAN. Four passive probes are included.
RS-232 connectivity supports legacy instrument integration. Dual input impedance options and bandwidth limiting filters to 20 MHz maximize measurement accuracy across diverse signal types. X-Y operation mode, value averaging to 256 runs, and zoom functionality enhance analytical capability.
Operation requires 100–240 VAC with minimum 5 cm clearance around the unit.
