Compatibility & Integration The EPX-200 integrates directly into the EXFO EPX16 chassis and operates alongside other EPX16 test modules to expand functional capability. Interconnection with additional modules supports DS1 cross-connect and add/drop operations. The module accepts remote commands through standard web browser access or via custom software protocols, enabling integration into larger test automation frameworks. Note: The EPX-200 was discontinued by EXFO with an end-of-service and support date of June 30, 2009. Third-party suppliers may provide continued support.
Exfo EPX-200 — Repair & Calibration Service
Aumictech offers NIST-traceable calibration and repair for the Exfo EPX-200. Calibration covers optical reference power levels, electrical signal amplitude calibration, protocol layer verification, and BER measurement floor validation. All calibrations ship with a NIST-traceable certificate. Turnaround is typically 1–3 business days after receipt.
Common Exfo EPX-200 faults: SFP cage mechanical damage, optical port contamination, firmware corruption. Most failures involve SFP/SFP+ cage mechanical damage, optical port contamination, or firmware corruption. Port cleaning and firmware restoration resolve the majority of faults.
