The Amplifier Research KAW4040 is a 500 W CW RF power amplifier for EMC testing, communications, and research applications. Operating across 200 MHz to 500 MHz instantaneously with optional optimization over 390–410 MHz, it delivers 57 dB minimum gain with ±2.0 dB flatness unleveled and ±0.5 dB leveled. The amplifier achieves rated 500 W output from 1.0 mW maximum input, with 30 dB typical gain adjustment range and infinite VSWR mismatch tolerance.
