The Amplifier Research 10W1000C is a solid-state Class A RF amplifier delivering 10 watts minimum across 500 kHz to 1 GHz with instantaneous bandwidth capability. Built on push-pull circuitry in high-power stages, it achieves 40 dB minimum gain and ±1.0 dB typical flatness. The unit accepts modulated signals (AM/FM/Pulse) and integrates RF input overdrive protection via limiting diodes and input leveling circuits.

Over-temperature protection automatically removes DC voltage to amplifier stages upon cooling system failure, preventing damage. A front-panel digital display monitors operating status and fault conditions including over-temperature, power supply, and amplifier faults.
