The Astronics/EADS/Racal 1260-100 is a C-size VXIbus switch carrier that accommodates up to six Adapt-a-Switch™ plug-in switch cards for dense, modular switching configurations in automated test equipment and data acquisition systems. The two-slot module features front-loading access for simplified field upgrades and maintenance, with an integrated analog bus enabling dynamic software-controlled multiplexer and matrix configurations. EMI/RFI shielding between plug-in slots ensures signal integrity and crosstalk elimination.

Compatibility & Integration The 1260-100 integrates with the VXIbus backplane and supports Ethernet, GPIB, or RS-232 control when equipped with the Option 01T interface. The Option 01T manages up to twelve Adapt-a-Switch™ plug-in cards and supports both register-based and message-based control modes using SCPI and IEEE-488.2 commands. One Option 01T is recommended for every two 1260-100 carrier modules.
