This unit
The Keithley 2010 Series is a 7.5 digit multimeter with integrated 10-channel scanning, engineered for high-precision DC and AC measurements in research, development, and quality control environments. Built on the same analog-to-digital converter architecture as the 2000, 2001, and 2002 series, it delivers 7 ppm DC voltage repeatability and 100 nV RMS noise floor with 15 measurement functions including voltage, current, resistance, temperature, frequency, and diode testing.
Technical Specifications

Key Features
- Integrated 10-channel scanner mainframe for multipoint measurements
- Low-Power Ohms mode with source current as low as 100 µA, minimizing device self-heating
- Dry Circuit Test function limiting open circuit test voltage to 20 mV to prevent oxide puncturing
- Offset Compensated Ohms function eliminates thermal errors in low-level resistance measurements
- Extended 10 Ω resistance range for precise low-resistance measurements
- Fast autoranging and function switching with programmable internal and external triggering
Typical Applications End-of-life contact testing per ASTM B539-90, connector and contact resistance characterization, multi-channel temperature monitoring via RTD and thermocouple inputs, and precision DC voltage and resistance measurements in production and failure analysis environments.
Compatibility & Integration Accepts optional scanner cards including the 2000-SCAN (10-channel) and 2001-TCSCAN (9-channel thermocouple). For larger-scale switching applications, the 2010 integrates with Keithley Series 7000 switch matrices and cards.

Keithley 2010 — Repair & Calibration Service
Aumictech offers NIST-traceable calibration and repair for the Keithley 2010. Calibration covers DC voltage accuracy at all ranges, AC voltage (True RMS) accuracy at 50 Hz, 1 kHz, and 10 kHz, DC current accuracy, resistance accuracy at all decade ranges, frequency accuracy, and diode test voltage. Fluke 87V and 289 also include capacitance and temperature calibration.. All calibrations ship with a NIST-traceable certificate. Turnaround is typically 1–3 business days after receipt.
Common Keithley 2010 faults: blown input fuse, worn input jacks, display segment failure, relay contact wear on bench DMMs. Common faults include worn input jacks (banana socket contact wear on the mA and COM terminals), blown input fuses (especially the 440 mA HRC fuse), and display segment failures. Keithley 2000/2001/2002 bench DMMs commonly develop relay contact wear affecting resistance accuracy after extended service.
Keithley 2010 price
This Keithley 2010 is listed at $4,970. Calibration is available separately from $450. Contact us for volume pricing or if you need multiple units.
Keithley 2010 calibration cost
NIST-traceable calibration for the Keithley 2010 is $450 (standard — pass/fail certificate and calibration sticker) or $650 (full measured data at every test point, reference standards documented, traceability chain included). Calibration for this instrument covers DC voltage accuracy at all ranges, AC voltage (True RMS) accuracy at 50 Hz, 1 kHz, and 10 kHz, DC current accuracy, resistance accuracy at all decade ranges, frequency accuracy, and diode test voltage. Fluke 87V and 289 also include capacitance and temperature calibration.. Turnaround is 1 to 3 business days after receipt. See full calibration details →
