This unit

The HP/Agilent 4275A is a precision microprocessor-based LCR meter for accurate impedance characterization across 10 kHz to 10 MHz. It measures inductance, capacitance, resistance, impedance, dissipation factor, quality factor, ESR, conductance, susceptance, reactance, and phase angle with 0.1% basic accuracy and 5½ digit resolution. The instrument supports auto, series, and parallel measurement modes with continuously variable test signal levels from 1 mVrms to 1 Vrms.

Typical measurement time is 140–180 ms above 1 kHz. A four-terminal pair configuration with guard terminal minimizes lead and fixture effects. Automatic zero-offset capability compensates for residual impedance.

Deviation measurement displays absolute or percentage difference from stored reference values.

Common HP / Agilent 4275A faults: GPIB interface board failure, display failure, guard terminal switch contact wear, oscillator calibration drift on older analog bridges. HP 4284A and 4285A most common faults are HPIB interface board failure and display contrast loss. The internal oscillator and vector measurement circuits are highly stable and rarely fail. Wayne Kerr and GenRad bridge instruments may develop switch contact wear on decade resistance/capacitance dials.

HP / Agilent 4275A price

This HP / Agilent 4275A is listed at $1,259.8. Calibration is available separately from $450. Contact us for volume pricing or if you need multiple units.

HP / Agilent 4275A calibration cost

NIST-traceable calibration for the HP / Agilent 4275A is $450 (standard — pass/fail certificate and calibration sticker) or $650 (full measured data at every test point, reference standards documented, traceability chain included).
