This unit
The Agilent/Keysight E1326B is a B-size, 5.5-digit multimeter module designed for integration into VXIbus systems. It delivers high-accuracy measurements in automated test and measurement applications through a register-based architecture. Electrically identical to the E1411B, it differs only in physical size and slot requirement, enabling internal mounting in E1300/01/A/B mainframes via an optional installation kit to conserve valuable module slots.
The E1326B provides dual ADC capability: a low-noise integrating ADC for 5.5-digit precision measurements, and a 14-bit sampling ADC supporting reading rates up to 13 kHz. This dual-mode architecture makes it ideal for data acquisition, computer-aided test environments, and multichannel scanning when paired with compatible VXI multiplexers. Flexible triggering includes a built-in timer pacer for precise control over measurement cadence.
Technical Specifications
Measurement Functions:- DC Voltage (DCV)
- AC Voltage (ACV)
- 2-Wire Resistance
- 4-Wire Resistance
- Offset-compensated Ohms
- Temperature (Thermocouples, Thermistors, RTDs) Analog-to-Digital Converter:
- Integrating ADC: 5.5-digit, low-noise
- Sampling ADC: 14-bit resolution, up to 13 kHz reading rate Reading Rates:
Aperture time options range from 320 ms down to 10 µs. Maximum reading rate of 13 kHz achievable with auto zero off, fixed range, default trigger delay, offset compensation off, and Sample Source set to "TIMER". Accuracy:
24-hour accuracy for 4-wire resistance: 0.015% + 10 mΩ (267/320 ms aperture) to 0.05% + 120 mΩ (10 µs aperture). Specifications assume auto-zero on, 1-hour warm-up, and operation within ±5 °C of calibration temperature (module calibrated at 18–28 °C). 90-day accuracy figures vary by aperture and range. Maximum Nondestructive Input Voltages:
- Hi to Lo: 300 V DC, 300 V AC RMS, 450 V AC Peak
