This unit
The Keysight E1418A is a C-size, 1-slot VXI module that delivers 8 or 16 fully independent digital-to-analog conversion channels within VXIbus systems. Each channel integrates a 16-bit D/A converter supporting voltage output with local or remote sensing, current output, or programmable dual-mode operation. Channels can be configured as isolated or non-isolated depending on application requirements.
The module enables both individual channel updates and synchronized multi-channel updates via its internal data buffer, with fast register-level backplane access for real-time control. Output mode selection is accomplished through front-panel jumpers or direct register programming. In-situ calibration of each D/A converter is performed via software commands using the CALBUS terminal and a 5.5-digit multimeter, eliminating the need for module removal during maintenance.
