This unit

The Agilent/Keysight E1330B is a B-size, single-slot VXI module providing four independent 8-bit digital input/output ports for data communication and control within VXIbus systems. Each port configures independently for input or output with positive or negative true logic selection. The module supports flexible data transmission across individual bits, bytes (8-bit), words (16-bit), and long words (32-bit), making it suitable for diverse digital control applications.

Three dedicated handshake and control lines per port

FLG (flag input), CTL (control output), and I/O (status) - enable synchronous data transfer and status monitoring. Additional control lines (PIR, /RES, STS) support advanced interrupt management and custom handshaking protocols. The E1330B implements Release on Interrupt Acknowledge (ROAK) interrupt circuitry, ensuring full compatibility with SCPI programming, C-SCPI, IS in SICL, and plug-and-play drivers.

The register-based architecture integrates into larger VXI measurement and control systems.
