The Agilent/Keysight E1497A is a C-size, 1-slot VXI embedded controller module built on HP PA-RISC technology. It delivers message-based control with direct VXI backplane access and operates under embedded HP-UX (UNIX) environments. The module integrates a 64 MHz 7100LC PA-RISC processor with 1 MB of dual-ported memory for high-speed data acquisition.
It supports all standard VXI addressing modes (A16, A24, A32), includes single-channel DMA for extended memory devices, and features a programmable interrupt handler. The E1497A is VXIplug&play compatible and supports C-SCPI, HP VEE, SICL, and VISA programming environments.
