The Astronics/EADS/Racal 1260-18 is a VXI C-size high-density switch module featuring 152 SPST channels for signal routing in aerospace, military, and industrial test systems. Each channel handles up to 2 A at 250 VAC or 220 VDC with maximum switching power of 60 W and 125 VA per channel. The module supports message-based and register-based control via VXIbus, user-configurable relay grouping through equate programming lists, and relay coil current monitoring for operational confidence checking. Path resistance remains below 0.5 Ω with thermal EMF under 15 µV, while AC performance into 50 Ω delivers insertion loss below 0.1 dB at 100 kHz rising to 0.7 dB at 10 MHz, crosstalk better than −80 dB at 100 kHz, and isolation exceeding 80 dB at 100 kHz. Open-channel capacitance is capped at 50 pF input-to-ground and output-to-ground, with input-to-output capacitance under 5 pF.
