The Keysight E4980A Precision LCR Meter operates across 20 Hz to 2 MHz with 0.05% basic impedance accuracy, delivering fast, repeatable measurements for component characterization in R&D, manufacturing, and quality control. The instrument measures capacitance down to the femtofarad range and handles inductors with simultaneous acquisition of series/parallel inductance and DC resistance. It simultaneously captures AC impedance alongside DC voltage and current, enabling comprehensive bias-dependent analysis.
Four-terminal pair measurement, auto/manual range selection, and 4-digit resolution at any frequency ensure precision across low and high impedance domains. The built-in DC bias source (standard 1.5 V and 2 V; Option 001 extends to ±40 Vdc at 0.3 mV resolution) supports detailed bias-sweep characterization.
