This unit

The Advantech PCI-1760 is a PCI/PCIe relay actuator and isolated digital input card for industrial automation and real-time control. It combines 8 relay outputs with 8 galvanically isolated digital inputs, delivering 2,500 VDC isolation protection in hostile electrical environments. The card supports both dry-contact and wet-contact signaling, programmable digital filtering, and dual interrupt modes (pattern match and change-of-state detection).

Two independent 16-bit event counters monitor digital inputs up to 500 Hz or 1 kHz, while 2 isolated PWM channels provide proportional control capability. All relay channels feature individual LED status indicators and operate within 5 ms switching time, supporting loads from 0.5 A @ 125 VAC through 1 A @ 30 VDC.

Key Features

  • Dual relay types eliminate design constraints for switching AC, DC, and mixed loads

  • Programmable digital filtering suppresses contact bounce and transient noise

  • Dual counter channels (16-bit) reach 500 Hz base frequency or 1 kHz optional

  • Opto-isolation protects host circuitry from field signal transients

  • Per-relay LED indicators (red PCI, green PCIe) enable visual diagnostics

  • Jumper-selectable input thresholds accommodate 3 V logic or 30 VDC signals

Typical Applications

  • Process automation: relay-based pump, valve, and motor control

  • Supervisory monitoring: discrete sensor and limit-switch acquisition

  • Counter-based measurement: pulses from encoders and frequency inputs

  • Mixed-signal control: PWM feedback loops with relay sequencing

  • Industrial safety interlocks requiring galvanic isolation

Compatibility & Integration Supported platforms: C#, C++, LabVIEW, VB.Net, BCB, MFC, VB6, Delphi, Java, Matlab, Qt. PCI-1760U models integrate into legacy 3.3 V and 5 V PCI slots; PCIE variants target modern PCIe infrastructure.

Advantech PCI-1760 — Repair & Calibration Service

Aumictech offers NIST-traceable calibration and repair for the Advantech PCI-1760. Calibration covers per-channel threshold accuracy, input leakage current, logic level high/low margins, and signal timing verification. All calibrations ship with a NIST-traceable certificate. Turnaround is typically 1–3 business days after receipt.
