This unit

The Keithley DMM6500 is a 6.5-digit bench and system multimeter engineered for precision measurement across research, development, manufacturing, and laboratory environments. Its 5-inch capacitive touchscreen delivers a graphical interface with pinch-and-zoom capability for intuitive data visualization. The instrument integrates 15 measurement functions

DC voltage, AC voltage, DC current, AC current, resistance, capacitance, frequency, temperature (RTD, thermistor, thermocouple), diode test, and digitizing - enabling comprehensive electrical characterization without external instrumentation. sits a 16-bit digitizer operating from 1 kS/s to 1 MS/s, storing up to 7,000,000 readings for transient capture and analysis.

The DMM6500 delivers measurement rates to 21,000 readings per second with a minimum measurement time of 8.3 µs (10 µs at 50 Hz). DC voltage accuracy reaches 25 PPM (0.0025%) over one year and 30 PPM over two years.

Keithley DMM6500 — Repair & Calibration Service

Aumictech offers NIST-traceable calibration and repair for the Keithley DMM6500. Calibration covers DC voltage accuracy at all ranges, AC voltage (True RMS) accuracy at 50 Hz, 1 kHz, and 10 kHz, DC current accuracy, resistance accuracy at all decade ranges, frequency accuracy, and diode test voltage. Fluke 87V and 289 also include capacitance and temperature calibration.. All calibrations ship with a NIST-traceable certificate. Turnaround is typically 1–3 business days after receipt.

Standard Cal
$450
Pass/fail cert + NIST sticker
Cal with Data
$650
Full NIST cert with measured values

Common Keithley DMM6500 faults: blown input fuse, worn input jacks, display segment failure, relay contact wear on bench DMMs. Common faults include worn input jacks (banana socket contact wear on the mA and COM terminals), blown input fuses (especially the 440 mA HRC fuse), and display segment failures. Keithley 2000/2001/2002 bench DMMs commonly develop relay contact wear affecting resistance accuracy after extended service.

Keithley DMM6500 price

This Keithley DMM6500 is listed at $1,770. Calibration is available separately from $450. Contact us for volume pricing or if you need multiple units.

Keithley DMM6500 calibration cost
