This unit

The Fluke 27-II Industrial Multimeter delivers precision measurement and field durability in a single instrument. IP67-rated and sealed against dust and water ingress, it withstands 3-meter drops with holster protection and operates reliably across harsh industrial, field service, and laboratory environments. The multimeter measures AC/DC voltage to 1000 V, AC/DC current to 10 A, resistance to 50 MΩ, capacitance to 10,000 μF, and frequency to 200 kHz. A large backlit display with 6000-count resolution and backlit keypad buttons ensures visibility in low-light conditions. Min/Max/Average recording captures signal variations automatically. Safety ratings include CAT IV 600 V and CAT III 1000 V overvoltage protection, IEC and ANSI compliance, and 8,000 volt spike withstand. Extended AC voltage bandwidth spans 40 Hz to 30 kHz; frequency measurement extends from 0.5 Hz to 199.99 kHz. Peak current handling reaches 20 A for 30 seconds. Operating temperature range is −15 °C to +55 °C, with brief operation at −40 °C. The instrument runs on three AA batteries with 800-hour battery life and includes a reversible holster.

Fluke 27-II — Repair & Calibration Service

Aumictech offers NIST-traceable calibration and repair for the Fluke 27-II. Calibration covers DC voltage accuracy at all ranges, AC voltage (True RMS) accuracy at 50 Hz, 1 kHz, and 10 kHz, DC current accuracy, resistance accuracy at all decade ranges, frequency accuracy, and diode test voltage. Fluke 87V and 289 also include capacitance and temperature calibration.. All calibrations ship with a NIST-traceable certificate. Turnaround is typically 1–3 business days after receipt.

Full NIST cert with measured values

Common Fluke 27-II faults: blown input fuse, worn input jacks, display segment failure, relay contact wear on bench DMMs. Common faults include worn input jacks (banana socket contact wear on the mA and COM terminals), blown input fuses (especially the 440 mA HRC fuse), and display segment failures. Keithley 2000/2001/2002 bench DMMs commonly develop relay contact wear affecting resistance accuracy after extended service.
