This unit
The Analogic DBS902HV is a 14-bit waveform digitizer module engineered for high-speed signal acquisition in VXI-based instrumentation systems. This daughterboard plugs into the Analogic DBS9900 VXI C-size Dual Instrument Carrier, enabling multiple modules to share a single chassis slot while maintaining coherent operation across the DBS9XX series for integrated signal analysis. The module delivers one differential input channel with 14-bit resolution and sampling rates to 80 MS/s across a 40 MHz bandwidth.
Six selectable input ranges span ±0.5 V through ±25 V, accommodating both low-level and high-voltage signals. Input impedance options include 50 Ω, 75 Ω, and 1 MΩ configurations. Overvoltage protection extends to ±30 VDC on high ranges and ±3 VDC on low ranges.
Dynamic performance is defined by spurious-free dynamic range (SFDR) exceeding 75 dB typical at 10 MHz input with 80 MS/s sampling, and noise floor of 200 µV RMS maximum with 30 MHz bandwidth at 50 Ω. Integral non-linearity remains within ±3 LSB typical, with DC gain accuracy of ±1% over ±5 °C intervals. Common-mode rejection reaches >60 dB from DC to 20 kHz at ±0.5 V, while channel-to-channel crosstalk rejection exceeds 100 dB.

Analogic DBS902HV — Repair & Calibration Service
Aumictech offers NIST-traceable calibration and repair for the Analogic DBS902HV. Calibration covers all module-specific parameters per manufacturer datasheet, output accuracy and linearity, frequency accuracy, and VXI register and trigger bus compliance. All calibrations ship with a NIST-traceable certificate. Turnaround is typically 1–3 business days after receipt.
Common Analogic DBS902HV faults: relay contact wear, DAC/ADC drift, VXI backplane connector oxidation. Common faults include relay contact wear, DAC or ADC gain drift, and VXI backplane edge connector oxidation. Most modules are repaired at the component level with full post-repair verification in a C-size or D-size mainframe.
