This unit

The V387-ZA11 is a single-width, C-size VXIbus module delivering up to 128 digital input/output channels in a register-based architecture. Four interchangeable P300 series mezzanine cards, each supporting 32 channels, enable flexible I/O configuration. Engineers can deploy non-isolated bidirectional options (TTL single-ended or RS-422 differential) or isolated input modules rated for voltages from TTL through 120 V ac, all with programmable input filtering and 500 V isolation.

Technical Specifications

Key Features

Register-based module control with manual logical address setting via eight rocker switches

Trigger generation, interrupt on pattern recognition, and change-of-state detection

VXIbus Local Bus: 12 user-defined lines for daisy-chaining and private data paths to adjacent modules

TTL and ECL trigger line support; 10 MHz ECL clock access

Module ID line for geographic addressing

Optional Digi-bus interfacing via P500 (transmit) or P501 (receive) cards

Typical Applications Relay and solenoid control, lamp switching, digital signal acquisition from multiple device sources, and multi-channel test automation in VXIbus instrumentation systems.

Compatibility & Integration The module integrates directly into VXIbus systems and supports Kinetic Systems 5819-series cabling (5819-B, 5819-D, 5819-F, 5819-G). Optional Digi-bus cards extend communication capability within larger test environments.
