This unit
The Keithley 2001 Series is a 7.5-digit multimeter engineered for precision measurement and automated data acquisition in laboratory, engineering, and system integration environments. Built on a 28-bit A/D converter, it delivers true 7.5-digit resolution across DC voltage, AC voltage, current, resistance, frequency, and temperature measurements. The instrument supports single-range DC voltage measurement from 1 µV to 20 V, eliminating range-shift errors and delays. Optional scanning capabilities enable multi-point automated testing with up to ten measurement points, reducing test cycle time and operator intervention.
Technical Specifications Voltage & Current Measurement

Keithley 2001 — Repair & Calibration Service
Aumictech offers NIST-traceable calibration and repair for the Keithley 2001. Calibration covers DC voltage accuracy at all ranges, AC voltage (True RMS) accuracy at 50 Hz, 1 kHz, and 10 kHz, DC current accuracy, resistance accuracy at all decade ranges, frequency accuracy, and diode test voltage. Fluke 87V and 289 also include capacitance and temperature calibration.. All calibrations ship with a NIST-traceable certificate. Turnaround is typically 1–3 business days after receipt.
Common Keithley 2001 faults: blown input fuse, worn input jacks, display segment failure, relay contact wear on bench DMMs. Common faults include worn input jacks (banana socket contact wear on the mA and COM terminals), blown input fuses (especially the 440 mA HRC fuse), and display segment failures. Keithley 2000/2001/2002 bench DMMs commonly develop relay contact wear affecting resistance accuracy after extended service.
